TRANSFORMATIONAL CUPPING®

"Kevin is a former professional athlete and hence the 'no bullshit' mentality. I got to know him as an extremely critical person, who goes very deep into topics. He is a person who has helped me a lot, to spar with regarding Intermittent Fasting and the combination with the Matchapolitan Lifestyle. That is partly why I like to follow Kevin in his trajectory and the Transformational Cupping ® . It is a fascinating story and a fascinating guy!" says Pieter Loridon.

What is transformational cupping?
Transformational Cupping is a combination of cupping, manual therapy, nutrition and detoxing. Here we combine very diverse techniques and achieve fantastic results. For example, we combine Eastern and Western medicine and apply detoxing with food as medicine.

It works on all levels. This can range from treating tennis elbows or adhesions around the intestines to working on the meridians. The latter is the one I personally apply the most.

Transformational Cupping is also a tool to bring deep-rooted pains and complaints to the surface and to resolve them. It works on old layers in the subtle physical body (chakras), energy body, mental body, emotional body, metaphysical body, spiritual body and causal body. These layers are peeled off one by one to get to the core. Our mind works in a very clever way to erase traumas and pains from our memory as a way of coping, but our body stores everything.

During a cupping treatment, it is felt how deep it needs to be peeled to bring the necessary relief. In this way, you can continue on your own path with less ballast and space is created to receive new insights.

The goal of transformational cupping is to raise your frequency. When you stay in a low frequency for too long, it results in physical complaints and illnesses. These complaints are caused by our current modern lifestyle. Some examples of this are processed food, air pollution, radiation, toxic relationships, news, work, cosmetics, etc.
Throw overboard what no longer serves you!

What types of cupping are there?
The form of cupping that I practice is transformational cupping. With this form of cupping, the intention is to get everything moving again. Adhesions that are both superficially under the skin and deeper in the body are loosened with the cup as a tool. The skin under the cup is vacuumed with the help of the cup. This loosens muscle knots, waste products and adhesions, there is better blood circulation and unnecessary ballast can be removed.
You can also use Transformational Cupping to work on specific areas, such as tennis elbow or adhesions around the intestines.
You can also work on the meridian channels of the body, this is the method I use most often. Meridians can be compared to rivers that run through the body and in which the Qi or life energy flows, as Traditional Chinese Medicine tells us. If there is a stagnation in this flow, it can manifest itself physically, emotionally and/or mentally in all kinds of complaints that sometimes start small but can escalate to a chronic problem.

Other known forms of cupping are dry cupping, wet cupping and fire cupping.
Dry cupping involves creating an area of low pressure over which the cup is placed. A vacuum is created, causing the cup to attach to the skin.

Wet cupping (hijama) is a method where scratches are made in the skin. By attaching a cup to it, blood is released by suction, which will free the body of toxins.

Finally, there is fire cupping , where a cotton ball is lit in the cup. Lighting this ball removes all oxygen and creates a vacuum. Then the suction will do its work. This creates better blood flow and better lymph circulation.

Why should you do transformational cupping?
Your body is a field of moving energy and a system of information. As life continues its fluctuations, we tend to accumulate negative beliefs, burdens and sadness. We hold them so tightly that they become embedded in the body, causing changes and disruptions in the flow (meridians) of our system, while also limiting access to the best possible version of ourselves.
This can manifest in the form of ailments or illness, but also as a lack of faith in our own power and a limited understanding of the universe.

When someone begins a cleansing process such as transformational cupping and the Intermittent Fasting Matchapolitan Lifestyle , the body begins to release these knots of attachment and free up the blockages in our information system. This allows our energy field to come back into balance and the energy to move more freely and powerfully. This causes many changes in the body, which do not only occur on a physical level, such as the healing of illness or disease. But you will also be able to observe intangible, inner changes within yourself, such as more belief in yourself, the growth of love and the striving for a higher level of wisdom.

There is no separation between the inner and the physical, they move together as one under the guidance of our mental content, with the purpose of radiating love to all beings. May we all reclaim our power and purify ourselves of the burdens that are responsible for the limitations that come our way. May we all grow into unconditional love, for nothing beats love.

"The goal is to bring and keep Yin and Yang in balance."

What does a cupping session look like?
If you choose to be treated by me, you will first receive a questionnaire so that a detailed analysis of your complaints can be made. Based on that analysis, it is determined which body parts receive attention, with or without the 12 main meridians of the body.

What happens in our body during and after cupping?
During a treatment with transformational cupping, the intention is to bring balance back into our system, based on the principle of yin and yang from traditional Chinese Medicine. Yin embodies our emotions and is connected to the left side of our body, while Yang represents our ratio that is linked to the right side of the body. The goal is to bring and keep Yin and Yang in balance.

In our body there are many meridians, of which 12 are main meridians. The Yin meridians can be found mainly on the inside of your limbs, such as: the heart, pericardium, liver, kidney, lung and spleen meridians.

The Yang meridians are located on the outside of our body or limbs, including the small intestine meridian, triple warmer, gallbladder, bladder, large intestine and the stomach meridian.
All meridians occur on both sides of our body.

Finally we have the governor meridian (back of the body), which is connected to all the Yang meridians and the conception vessel (front of the body) which is connected to all the Yin meridians.
By cupping on these meridians that are linked to the client's complaints, we can remove certain blockages in the different bodies (subtle physical body (chakras), energy body, mental body, emotional body, metaphysical body, spiritual body and causal body) and thus reopen the path to enlightenment.

To support the liver and kidneys in removing the waste products released from the body during cupping, it is important to drink plenty of fluids after the treatment.
Transformational cupping can have many effects, such as releasing traumas, etc. You will therefore not only feel a lot physically after a treatment, but also on an emotional and mental level.

Finally, Transformational cupping can also be used for purely aesthetic reasons, but I put much less focus on this. I get energy from being involved with the healing part and helping people where conventional medicine is limited to symptom control.

With cupping we go beyond the symptoms, we look at the deeper cause of the complaints and we try to tackle the problem at the root. Then it is up to the client to do the work. I only turn the cog so that everything gets moving, the client ensures that everything keeps flowing once the movement has been set in motion. If the work is not done, complaints will return in no time.

“We hold them so tightly that they become embedded in the body, creating changes and disruptions in the flow (meridians) of our system, while also limiting access to the best possible version of ourselves.”

How often is cupping recommended?
Since transformational cupping goes very deep and even works at a cellular level, where old traumas etc. are stored, I recommend leaving at least four weeks between treatments before having cupping again.

And finally, we are very curious to know more about you, Kevin! How did you get into this world and what steps did you take to get there?
If you ask me how I came into contact with Transformational Cupping, I will happily outline the main points, because that entire journey is closely connected to what Transformational Cupping stands for: turning inward and looking at your shadow sides .

More than 2 years ago I came into contact with Intermittent Fasting, which quickly led me to Pieter. I quickly realized that IF not only has positive effects on a physical level. But it also gave me a lot of insights and insight into the rat race in which we live every day.
The path I have traveled since then has presented me with obstacles that have forced me to step out of my comfort zone. Every time a crucial moment presented itself on my path, I encountered a lot of resistance within myself, layers that I had to peel off.
So I ventured into an Insta Live with Pieter twice, which meant that I had to seriously step out of my comfort zone. The second live session was about my 100-hour fast, which eventually became one of 111 hours – the magic number! The emotions that came up during this cannot be described in words. It cleared the way to go deep inside and gain a lot of insights.

Thanks to this second live I came into contact with someone who wanted to be helped in her relationship with food. That's how I came into contact with Chocobliss, a plant medicine with which you make an inner journey in a ceremony. In this journey I was shown what my soul mission is, namely helping people in their inner journey. She was also the person who introduced me to cupping.

A year later my attention was drawn to a training in the Netherlands for Transformational Cupping. Again I encountered a lot of resistance within myself that I had to work through to finally give the training a chance.
From then on, everything went very quickly. I quickly received a lot of applications from potential clients and 2 months after the training I was asked to supervise the Transformational Cupping training as a trainer. In the meantime, I had also completed a training in meridians and energetic treatment to optimize my knowledge and know-how.

In the meantime, I have received many positive responses from clients who have found me to treat their complaints and to help them with their traumas. This only confirms for me the powerful effects of Transformational Cupping and motivates me to continue on this path. Transformational Cupping is for me the tool to free people from the burden of traumas and complaints so that they can live their favorite life.
