THE IMPORTANCE OF SELF LOVE FOR A LOVING AND LONG-LASTING RELATIONSHIP

The most common mistake what I see men and women do in relationships is that they seek love outside of themselves . This causes them to remain single or end up in co-dependent and/or unfulfilling relationships (marriages).

People often ask me: “What exactly do you do as a love advisor and coach?” I always tell them that I help you to find, feel and fill your emptiness . So that you connect with another from loving and filled love energy.

“What is a void?” a clever man once asked me, a void is a part of yourself that you do not yet love . Because of this, another cannot love it either, resulting in, as mentioned earlier, you remaining single and/or ending up in co-dependent relationships.
Then the question arises… “How can you know if you still have some lovemaking to do before you can find and keep your right partner?”

Below are some indications:
For women
1. You are eternally single.
2. Your relationships keep failing. Men keep telling you “I’m not feeling it.”
3. You make statements like:
- Men can't handle me (and my ambitions).
- Men feel intimidated by me.
- It depends on the man.

For men
1. You just can't seem to find and keep your dream partner.
2. Your relationships keep failing. No matter how hard you try, you can't win her over.
3. You make statements like:
- I can't do anything right for her.
- They don't make real women anymore.
- I don't want to date CEOs, female entrepreneurs and certainly not female lawyers, there's nothing you can do about that.

If you recognize yourself in this, the next question is; How can I turn this around so that I can attract and keep my dream partner?
As a certified love counselor and coach, I guide men and women through my company “Happy Thinking” in finding and keeping the right partner.

The first step you need to take is an inventory of your :
1. Self-image (how do I perceive myself?).
2. Self-love (how much do I love myself?).
3. Self-esteem (how valuable do I think I am?).
You can rate yourself on a scale of 0-10 (with 0 as the lowest and 10 as the highest score). What comes up during this reflection exercise, that is where the growth of your love potential lies .

The second step is perhaps even more important than the first step. You may still know all of the above (RATIO head) , but (through)feel (EMO-heart) you too? Finally “heartfelt” action (INTUO-belly) to take.
Our heart (EMO) is our first brain, our gut (INTUO) is our second brain, and our head (RATIO) is our third brain.
More often than not, we try to solve a first brain problem with our third brain. Sound familiar?
Here I see nine out of ten people fail. Meanwhile I no longer believe that you can do this alone.

When I look at my own process, and that of my clients, I see that when it comes to emotions, we need someone to hold the space when we (still unknown and often challenging) exploring feelings for a first time . So that from a safe and friendly experience, we can do it ourselves afterwards.
