As women, we have been conditioned from a young age to participate in this 24-hour society and in doing so we ignore our female hormonal cycle. In doing so, we completely lose the connection with our own body. We grow up with the idea that from the moment we experience our first menstruation, we have to deal with all kinds of complaints such as cramps, PMS and all the typical menstrual complaints.

We step away from our own natural power and often choose - partly out of convenience and because it is easily prescribed by a doctor - for hormonal contraception or you continue to ignore hormonal complaints. This then ensures that we only lose the connection with our mental and physical well-being . While the female cycle is an incredibly powerful and magical tool to feel balanced during all phases of the cycle. With various important components, such as: nutrition and workouts, as well as stress and sleep you can feel energetic, less stressed, confident but also ensures a healthy weight.

This applies to all women, from puberty when you experience your first period to the life of a golden girl! Yes, you read that right… these are the pillars to focus on to stay hormonally balanced.

Of course, it also doesn't help that for decades only health studies were conducted on men. Assuming that the body of a man and a woman would be the same. This is absolutely not the case and it is time to create even more awareness around this and to live according to our female cycle. As long as we do not know what is happening in our body, we cannot work purposefully and therefore cannot put our health at no. 1.


What are the steps to living in synergy with your feminine cycle?

  • Map out which phase of life you are currently in.
    Of course there are different standards when it comes to hormone levels, what is your age and which hormone levels match your biological age?

  • Map out which phase of your menstrual cycle you are in.
    Are you in your fertile years, and even if you no longer experience a menstrual cycle, this can help you to still connect with the female cycle.
    How? You will learn all about it during the online live workshop on the WAY OF LIFE platform.

  • Create awareness about the possible causes of complaints & learn everything about living in synergy during all phases of your female cycle.

It is never too late to learn about this interesting topic, where you as a woman are given tools that teach you to really connect with yourself. Stepping away from symptom control and going to the cause will teach you to listen better to what your body is actually asking for.

The 4 different phases of the female cycle require a different approach when it comes to nutrition, workouts, sleep and stress (relationships, work and environmental factors).

On Tuesday, January 16, 2023, there will be an online workshop at 7:00 PM where Hormone Expert Josephine Meyer from In Balance 2 Be Free will explain everything about how you can map your cycle, we will discuss the cause of many hormonal complaints and whether you can live in synergy with your cycle if you use hormonal contraception.
