With the launch of the new Intermittent Living Course, we invited Siebe for a short interview, to introduce you to this super inquisitive young man. At 35, he has a huge amount of knowledge about (preventive) health. Every week he takes the time to learn even more, by educating himself, reviewing scientific research or reading interesting scientifically based articles. As he says himself: 'I never stop learning and there are still so many things we don't know about the human body'.
We ask Siebe what his answer is when people ask him: 'who are you?'...
"I have no special talent, I am just curious . A quote from Albert Einstein that fits me like a glove. With me you meet a curious young man. Curious to learn new things, to discover, to develop further. A youthful curiosity that is at the root of my passion . Curiosity, the oxygen that keeps my flame burning.
Self-discipline is the bridge between goals and success. From childhood I have a strong will and can force myself to consciously focus on growth and development every day. O nly though it wasn't always easy and I struggled with chronic physical complaints for almost 1/3 of my life , self-discipline has brought me to where I am today. Self-discipline, a value that helps me daily to achieve my goals and pursue my mission.
"My mission is to translate scientific insights into Intermittent Living into practice and share them with as many people as possible."
It always seems impossible, until it's done. Powerful words from Nelson Mandela that beautifully describe what I really like, in myself and in others: perseverance. Call it a value, or call it a vital skill. You can take the latter literally. After 10 years of chronic complaints as a result of Lyme disease, after 10 years of pain and frustration, as difficult as it was at times, I kept on persevering and believing. Believing that there had to be a solution. Thanks to my perseverance I learned about clinical psycho-neuro-immunology and Intermittent Got to know Living concept. The results of integrating these principles had a profound impact on my health and soul. My mission is to translate the latest scientific insights into Intermittent Living into practice and to share these insights with as many people as possible so that they too can once again be in the driver's seat of their lives."

What exactly do you do with all your knowledge?
"Coaching. As a passionate coach, I guide and inspire both high performers (top athletes, CEOs, artists) and ordinary mortals like you and me. Everyone who wants to be healthy benefits from Intermittent Living. This can be done through exclusive 1-on-1 coaching or through group programs.
Mentors. As a lecturer at the International Institute of Intermittent Living (PNI Europe), I train other health professionals to become Intermittent Living Coaches. In this way, we have built a fantastic community of more than 150 Intermittent Living coaches in Belgium over the last 2 years.
Consulting. As a consultant for organisations such as Double Pass and Colruyt Group, I co-create and advise.
Inspire. As a speaker I give keynotes and workshops in sports clubs, companies, and organizations.
Writing. As a guest writer, I was able to contribute to 4 books on health and lifestyle in 2021. Now that I've got a taste for it, I'm writing my own book, which will be published in November, in collaboration with Borgerhoff and Lamberigts."
What do you want to achieve?
"Creating a breakthrough in people. This can be done in several ways, from increasing awareness to providing tools to get moving. I do this by setting an example myself - practice what you preach ; and by listening to the person in front of me - only when we are able to really listen to what someone has to say, can we actually help that person."
